Lumix GX1

Panasonic has announced Lumix GX1 mirror-less interchangeable lens system which is a part of Lumix G Micro System. Lumix GX1 has a greate image quality as well as a superb performance. It is successor to the popular GF1. Lumix GX1 produces high quality images with great resolution detail and ideal color reproduction. Taking advantage of the 16MP Live MOS sensor and Venus Engine, it can be shot in low light situations as possible. LUMIX GX1 is now being pushed to a top ISO of 12,800. The precision contrast AF system of Lumix GX1 makes higher speed and Continuous shooting increase to 4.2 fps at full resolution 16MP up to 20fps at reduced resolution. The Lumix GX1 can records full AVCHD 1080/60i video with stereo system that’s excellent compression performance and usability. The advanced options that come with the AF system, recording with full time autofocus and tracking AF can be used on video recording, to ensure that everyone can enjoy top quality video recording with easy to use. Lumix GX1 offers touchscreen interface control points surrounding a familiar 3.0 inch 460,000 dot LCD. A brand new viewfinder, the LVF2 has been introduced with the Lumix GX1. It has a higher magnification and resolution, the LVF2 is a noticeable improvement over its predecessor, the LVF1.

Lumix GX1 is available in silver and black bodies, the kit lens options are limited to just two: the Lumix G X Vario PZ 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 ASPH Power OIS zoom lens or the more conventional Lumix G Vario 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 ASPH OIS lens.
